In one word: Curious

From a young age, marine science has been a great interest for Emma with all of her first-hand experience with the beauty within the ocean. As a Florida native, she grew up in Miami near the ocean, which gave her a deep appreciation for her precious environment. Emma is now a student at Boston College majoring in International Studies and Environmental Studies and her passion for marine science influenced her to go into climate advocacy and participating in classes like environmental law and environmental policy to learn more.

This spring, Emma is working as CCL’s Conservative Outreach Intern! Her responsibilities include being a conservative outreach coordinator and working with her supervisor to help run some of CCL’s Twitter accounts and organize some of CCL's informational tools. Emma plans to learn more about potential ways and solutions to combat climate through policy. We are excited to have Emma in the CCL team, and cannot wait to see what she brings!
